From the Examiner: “This week (24-31) is ‘National Cowboy Poetry Gathering’ week, and is always celebrated in Elko, NV. The National Cowboy Poetry Gathering is a week-long celebration of life in the rural West, featuring the contemporary and traditional arts that arise from lives lived caring for land and livestock. This includes music, Cowboy Poetry, exhibits, workshops and more. This year is their 25th year of Gathering. ”
